FAQs

Can I pay in installments?
Absolutely! It's easy to use the "buy now, pay later" function of Shop Pay by following these steps:

  1. Add items to your cart (or shopping bag).
  2. Check out with Shop Pay.
  3. Choose to pay in 4 installments.

Your first payment is either due at checkout or 2 weeks after your purchase. The next 3 remaining installments are automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay every 2 weeks. Don't worry - you'll get an email reminder before each payment to remind you!

How long will it take to ship my items?
I ship within 1-3 business days (weekends are difficult as I live in a farm town with a post office where hours are extremely limited on Saturdays).

Orders shipped to the USA generally take 2-5 business days, though that can change around the holidays or due to unforeseen circumstances (ie: 2020).

Orders shipped to Canada generally take about 2 weeks (they must be cleared through customs and this is where the delay mostly occurs).

Orders shipped overseas may take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on your location. Remember, they have a whole ocean to cross! ;)

*Please note that any and all taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of you, the buyer.

Will you take returns/exchanges?
Please keep the shipping box and see my Returns Policy page here.

How do I take care of my beading boards?
Your beading boards are made of maple hardwood or birch plywood and will arrive unfinished. You may leave them as-is or add paint, marker, stain or sealer to your liking.

Whichever finishing (or non-finishing) method you choose, please do not leave your beading boards in overly warm or freezing cold areas, as the temperature changes can cause warping and distortion. Humidity is also not their friend - so please keep them in a climate-controlled area to prevent warping.

A little wood wax can go a long way to prevent problems arising from heat, cold and humidity.

I've found that mixing 2 parts walnut oil, 1 part beeswax melted in a little mason jar makes a wonderful, all-natural and pet-safe wood finish (and you can buy these inexpensive supplies at most natural food stores).

1. Add 2 tbsp walnut oil and 1 tbsp beeswax pellets to a jelly-sized mason jar.

2. Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until beeswax is melted and incorporates with the walnut oil.

3. Apply with soft cloth from an old t-shirt or towel and buff it out. Wood is happiest when it's waxed and moisturized!

Can you make your 6.5" bracelet boards a different size?
No, I'm sorry. To create a larger board for say, a 7.5" wrist, the finished product would be so close to the original size of the 6.5" board that any difference would be almost unnoticeable (and an inventory nightmare). To work around this, simply add or subtract a bead or two (two 8mm beads adds about 3/4" or so). :)

Will you do custom orders?
Custom orders are available for wholesale customers and availability is based on order quantity. I'm sorry I can't do individual customs at this time!
